Gene W. Zdenek, MD

Dr. Zdenek is a graduate of Taft High School in Woodland Hills, California. After completing his baccalaureate work at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Zdenek attended medical school at Rush Medical University, also in Chicago. He completed his residency work as chief resident at Regenstein Eye Center at Rush Presbyterian – St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Zdenek has been practicing medicine since 1981. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Zdenek held the positions of Chief of Staff, Chairman of Emergency Room Services and Chairman of the Board at a Southern California Hospital. He went on to become the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Valley Multi-Specialty Surgery Center and Zdenek Eye Institute in central San Fernando Valley.
